Scooby-Doo and Shaggy are going to Japan! Studio OLM, best known for The Apothecary Diaries, Berserk and Pokémon, announced their latest project with Warner Bros. Animation: Yokoso Scooby-Doo!. Although there’s no official release date yet, here’s all the information we know so far!
Some familiar faces reprise their roles in Yokoso Scooby-Doo!. Frank Welker, who voiced both Scooby-Doo and Fred Jones through the years, Curious George, Garfield and Megatron, reprises his role as Scooby-Doo in the anime.
For those who don’t know, Frank Welker has been a huge part of the Scooby-Doo universe. Since 1969, Welker has voiced Fred Jones, the only original Scooby-Doo voice actor still with the series. Also, Welker began voicing the beloved dog Scooby-Doo in 2002, making his return to his role in the anime even more memorable.
Additionally, Matthew Lillard, most known for his roles as Stu Macher in Scream, William Afton in Five Nights at Freddy’s (2023) and Shaggy in Scooby-Doo (2002), reprises his role as Shaggy for the anime.
Yokoso Scooby-Doo! will stream exclusively on Tubi across North America, before later heading to Cartoon Network for international viewers.

Yokoso Scooby-Doo! is described as:

Joining the crew for Yokoso Scooby-Doo! includes Director Itsurō Kawasaki who is best known for his work on Psycho-Pass, Cardfight!! Vanguard and The Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting. Francisco Parades, best known for his work on Young Justice and Muppet Babies, joins the staff as co-producer. Finally, Warner Bros. Animation will produce the series. However, Studio OLM handles the animation. With such world-renowned companies working with incredible directors and producers, Yokoso Scooby-Doo! has no choice but to be amazing!
Until its official release, Scooby-Doo lovers can relive the memories of the Mystery Inc. on Tubi, alongside dozens of Cartoon Network’s best animated series!
