Another installment in the Psycho-Pass world awaits us, in the form of the upcoming movie, Psycho-Pass Providence. Set to premiere May 15, a new trailer and key visual were recently released.

Psycho-Pass Providence is a prequel movie to the third season, Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector. While you can watch Psycho-Pass: Providence without having seen previous seasons or movies, it will make a lot more sense if you’re caught up first.
Crunchyroll described the series as follows:
In the future, thinking about a crime makes you guilty, and justice is dispensed from the barrel of a gun. Detectives work in teams made up of Enforcers and Inspectors. Enforcers take out the bad guys, and Inspectors make sure their partners don’t cross the line. The equalizer in the war on thugs is the Dominator, a weapon that can tell when citizens are about to turn criminal.
