Gotta go fast! The teaser trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal Mania officially went live on December 7, 2025. Since then, EarthCore Media, LLC has released the cast voicing some of your favorite Sonic characters, along with other information about the new film.
EarthCore Media, LLC describes Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal Mania as:
When Metal Sonic returns with a vengeance after being spared by Sonic, the blue hedgehog must contemplate freedom and morality as he teams up with Tails the Fox and Shadow the Hedgehog to stop the metal maniac. Is the evil robot simply a line of code? Or does he have a life within his metal exterior?
From some of your favorite influencers, VTubers and voice actors, Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal Mania is full of incredible talent. The cast includes:
- Sonic the Hedgehog voiced by Jason Griffith
- Tails voiced by EMZBERRY
- Shadow voiced by Trae Gonzalez
- Metal Sonic voiced by Ryan X. Messcher
- Rouge the Bat voiced by Sofia Gomez
Colin K. Bass, Aisha Rae and Luke Holt also join the project; however, the characters they play remain a secret. If you’re curious, check out the EarthCore Media Instagram for hints on who they might be playing!
Most importantly, Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal Mania serves as a charity fundraiser film. EarthCore Media will donate proceeds from the film to Child’s Play Charity, which provides therapeutic games to children and teens across 190+ hospitals. With the video game industry’s help, Child’s Play Charity continues to help improve the lives of patients through “the power of play.”
