In Honkai: Nexus Anima, players collect creatures, called Animas, in an adventure strategy game. “Nexus” in the game is the bond between two contrasting concepts, such as life and death. However, when these bonds are imbalanced, due to unforeseen issues, the concept’s power transforms into Animas.

Players will travel by plane, having previously escaped captivity and now restarting in tranquility as they explore new realms. With the Anima around, players will forge bonds, travel the world and complete tasks together.

It appears players can acquire individual Animas, who have their own abilities, or acquire characters, who have their own Anima companions. HoYoverse revealed numerous different Animas and characters on the game’s official website.
