Players who were at level 50 and continued to gain experience will automatically advance to higher levels with the update. Not only that, but a new rewards system will be implemented for leveling up, such as increasing item, gift and Pokémon storage.

In preparation for the new levels, Pokémon GO will increase experience between now and October 14. Players will earn double XP from nice, great and excellent throws. Additionally, players will earn an extra 3,000 XP for winning raids or winning Max Battles.

Overall, we’re falling in love with Pokémon GO’s new season, Tales of Transformation. Until its release, players can enjoy the current event, Sunkissed Shores, which includes Dondozo’s debut.
