“The story of the illegal heroes, Vigilantes, begins now!”
TOHO Animation revealed new key art, trailer, and theme song for My Hero Academia’s spinoff My Hero Academia: Vigilantes. The anime will stream on Crunchyroll beginning April 7.
"My Hero Academia: Vigilantes" Coming April 7th
The My Hero Academia: Vigilantes trailer introduces main characters Koichi Haimawari (Nice Guy/The Crawler), Kazuho Haneyama (Pop☆Step), and Iwao Oguro (Knuckleduster). Knuckleduster is in search of a drug circulating throughout the city, which boosts Quirks and turns civilians into villains. The trailer features a mysterious villain who is distributing the drug via bees.
Also, some familiar heroes from the original My Hero Academia anime make an appearance. Class 1-A’s Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head), Endeavor, Tensei Iida (Ingenium), Midnight, and Snipe are some of the pro heroes seen fighting.
The trailer features My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ opening theme song “Kekka Orai” performed by Kocchi no Kento. Watch the trailer:

About "Vigilantes"
A prequel to the main series, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes takes place five years before the original My Hero Academia. The series follows Koichi Haimawari, an unlicensed hero who uses his Quirk to help others. One day, Haimawari and Kazuho Haneyama are saved by the vigilante Iwao Oguro (“Knuckleduster”), who later recruits the two to become vigilantes themselves.
