BlackMilk Spirals Into the Horrors of Junji Ito in Newest Collaboration

Horror anime fans, get ready! With the look-book now live for BlackMilk Clothing’s latest anime collaboration of all things Junji Ito, the countdown for the collection’s official launch is starting now.

The Collection Preview and Pinterest posts are set for release on Friday, March 14 (AEST). The actual BlackMilk Junji Ito collection will be available worldwide on March 18 at 7 a.m. (AEST) / March 17 at 1 p.m. (PST). There is a countdown for the launch live on their site. 

BlackMilk Clothing created numerous garments inspired by three separate Junji Ito collections: Uzumaki, Gyo, and Venus in the Blind Spot. With the look-book only out right now, there are no set prices. 

Outfits range from dresses and skirts to outerwear and pants, giving fans something for everyone. Also, the collection features designs with collages of manga panels, characters and creatures, such as Mariko from Venus in the Blind Spot or Shark from Gyo, and important design elements from the manga, such as the spiral design featured in Uzumaki.

As we all wait for the official drop of the BlackMilk Clothing x Junji Ito collaboration, fans of Junji Ito’s works can watch the Junji Ito Collection, an anime featuring adaptations of numerous of the artist’s most famous works, on Crunchyroll and Uzumaki on Hulu, Adult Swim, and Max.
