"My Hero Academa: You're Next" Trailer
The My Hero Academia: You’re Next trailer offers a new look at what to expect from the film, including new looks at the new characters, Anna Scervino (voiced by Meru Nukumi) and Giulio Gandini (voiced by Mamoru Miyano). The voice actors for the show’s characters are all expected to return for the film, as well.
The film follows Izuku Midoriya and Class 1-A being confronted by a new villain named Dark Might (voiced by Kenta Miyake), following the war seen in Season 6. After society’s collapse, Dark Might rewatches All Might’s speech from Season 3. He takes the phrase, “You’re next.”, the wrong way and uses his fortress to become the next symbol, wrecking havoc along the way.
While not much has been revealed in terms of the roles Anna and Giulio will play, the trailer does show that Giulio will be one of the film’s antagonists. It also shows that Anna is needed in some capacity for Dark Might’s plan. It is safe to assume that Izuku and his friends will all work together to stop Dark MIght and his army’s path of destruction and save Anna from the villain.

It is unknown if more info will be revealed for the upcoming film. The film is expected to release in Japan on August 2nd, 2024. It is unknown when the international release of the film will be. It was also announced that an English-subtitled clip will premiere at Anime Expo during their My Hero Academia Special Event panel for attendees.
