Capcom’s First-Ever US Pop-Up Is Coming to LA!

Capcom is opening its first-ever US store as a pop-up in Los Angeles, California! Fans can expect to see merchandise from several of its franchises, including Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Mega Man and Monster Hunter, to name a few!

About Capcom

Capcom is a longstanding gaming company that started in Osaka, Japan, with roots going back to 1979, when it began making arcade machines! However, the official Capcom company that we know today started in 1983. What started as a manufacturer and distributor has grown into an industry leader, developing titles players worldwide know and love. With such a deep-rooted history, this first-ever US pop-up feels long overdue!

Capcom Pop-Up Details

The pop-up is located in Little Akihabara (319 E 2nd St. #122, Los Angeles, CA 90012) from September 19 – October 18. Hours are 12 -7 PM daily! Little Akihabara is known for hosting pop-ups and live events all throughout the year! They continue to create spaces for fans from all around the world to connect with their favorite media!

While merch items haven’t been fully revealed, here is a look at some of the limited merch:

To give more attendees a chance to buy products, they’ve set limits on certain items like the ones above. However, rest assured these aren’t the only items available for purchase. The event will also feature more exclusive merch and photo opportunities with life-sized statues and displays. Also, the first 50 people in line will receive a limited-edition Capcom handkerchief as a special keepsake. There will also be an opportunity to play the US demo of Mega Man: Dual Override in stores only on September 19th and 20th.

Let us know in the comments if you plan on stopping by and which merch you’re hoping to find at the Capcom Pop-Up! I’m personally hoping to see Viewtiful Joe and Ace Attorney merch!
