Pokémon Horizons: The Series teams up with Pokémon GO in an event to celebrate the series’s 150th episode! Scheduled to premiere in Japan on September 18th, fans of the series and the mobile game can participate in the event scheduled for Wednesday, September 16th at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 22nd at 8:00 p.m. local time.
About the Pokémon Horizons x Pokémon GO Event
Debuting in the event is a new costumed Charmander wearing Friede’s goggles that can be found in the wild, from Field Research, an active Lure Module, or via the GO Pass. Trainers can evolve the Charmander into a costumed Charmeleon and a costumed Charizard. Lucky trainers may even encounter a Shiny variant of the costumed Pokémon or obtain one with a special background! Players also have the option to obtain Charizard wearing Friede’s goggles, Meowscarada, Skeledirge and Quaquaval in three-star raids for the event.
Additionally, during the event, wild encounters will be able to be obtained for the duration of the event. Between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., trainers will have a chance to catch Fidough, Wattrel, Chansey and more. Pokémon spawns such as Eevee, Hatenna, Rockruff and more are able to be seen during the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Players may also capture surprise encounters with the characters and Pokémon seen in the Pokémon Horizons series when taking a snapshot! The event is also packed with bonuses for all players, has event-themed Field Research tasks, and offers Deluxe GO Passes to catch em’ all!
For trainers who want to catch up on the adventures of the Pokémon Horizons crew, US fans can stream Season 3 – Rising Hope on Netflix. UK trainers can view the animated series on BBC iPlayer. Trainers in any other areas can check availability with their local providers.
