It’s finally here, travelers! The long-awaited seventh nation of the hit game Genshin Impact, Snezhnaya, has launched today with the 7.0 update. In honor of the update, Crunchyroll has given subscribers in-game rewards throughout the month.
The collaboration will run from today, August 12, through September 22. Certain players can get an exclusive gadget pet, reminiscent of an aranara, as well as primogems, mora and more, all based on their membership tier!
Genshin Impact players who are also Crunchyroll members can log into their membership in select areas of the world to get their unique reward redemption code to claim on the Crunchyroll landing page here. The areas included are the United States, Canada and only select Latin American countries. Codes can also be claimed through Genshin Impact here.
The Crunchyroll Tiers and Genshin Impact Rewards
For subscribers of Crunchyroll’s fan tier or above, players will get an in-game bundle that includes 40 Primogems, three Mystic Enhancement Ores, three Hero’s Wits and 20,000 Mora. For subscribers of Mega Fan Tier or above, they will receive the exclusive gadget pet, entitled “Neo Terminal: Floating Leaf Mode!” in addition to the bundle listed above.
Crunchyroll is no stranger to game collaborations like this. The company previously collaborated with Forza Horizon 6 for Crunchyroll’s annual “Ani-May” celebration.
What is Snezhnaya?
Snezhnaya is the seventh nation in Genshin Impact that the traveler has to travel to. The cold land, home of the Cryo Archon, the Tsaritsa, may be the final nation, but players are very familiar with its characters.
Throughout each nation the traveler has visited, the Tsaritsa has sent out her Fatui Harbingers, top executives in the Fatui who control the military and wield powers through delusions and visions alike. For the most part, the Eleven Fatui Harbingers have been a thorn in the traveler’s side, stealing a gnosis from each archon of every other nation.
With Snezhnaya finally here, the age-old Genshin Impact question can finally be answered: What does the Tsaritsa want with each Gnosis?
