As part of the recently announced November Pokémon GO event, Enchanted Hollow, two Pokémon make their in-game debut. These include Tarountula, the String Ball Pokémon, and Spidops, the Trap Pokémon.
Tarountula will appear in the wild, if you’re lucky, but will also be obtainable in one-star raids throughout the event. With 50 Tarountula candies, players can then evolve Tarountula into Spidops.
About the Enchanted Hollow Event
Enchanted Hollow begins on Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. and will run through Nov. 9 at 8 p.m. local time.
Throughout the Enchanted Hollow event, different Pokémon will appear more frequently. The Pokémon appearing more frequently, in the wild, include:
- Paras*
- Nickit*
- Stantler*
- Tarountula
Other Pokémon may appear more frequently when using Mossy Lure Modules. Since one of the event bonuses includes two times the Module durations, now’s the time to use them. The Pokémon appearing more frequently from Mossy Lure Modules include:
- Paras*
- Stantler*
- Petilil*
- Cottonee*
- Karrablast*
- Shelmet*
- Tarountula
(Pokémon labeled with * have a chance to be a shiny).
Pokéstops will also look a little different throughout the Enchanted Hollow event. With glowing patches of green forestry under each Pokéstop, be sure to spin them to get two times the XP.
New raids will also appear throughout the duration. For one-star raids, players will see Paras, Stantler and Tarountula raids appear more frequently. As for three-star raids, players will see Leavanny, Scolipede, and Drampa appear more regularly, with a chance of shiny Drampa.
Pokémon GO also announced the event will include new collection challenges, with rewards offering encounters with Tarountula itself.
Enchanted Hollow arrives during the Tales of Transformation season, which began on Sept. 2 and runs until Dec. 2.
Launched in 2016, Pokémon GO is an augmented reality mobile game from Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. The game follows players through their phone’s GPS, allowing them to fight, catch and explore based on their actual location.
Until the Enchanted Hollow event, Pokémon GO players can enjoy the current Halloween event starting today and running through until Nov. 2. Check back in the game on Nov. 4 for a chance to catch Tarountula and Spidops web, just don’t get caught in their web.
