About One Piece: Heroines

A spin-off series of the original story by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece: Heroines, written by Jun Esaka and illustrated by Sayaka Suwa, focuses on telling short stories of the women in One Piece. One Piece: Heroines began in the One Piece Magazine in June 2021. However, in March 2024, the short stories were combined into two light novels. VIZ Media distributes both volumes in English.

The first One Piece: Heroines light novel focuses on Nami, Vivi, Robin, and Perona. The second light novel focuses on Boa Hancock, Reiju, Uta, and Tashigi. Finally, the series finishes with a discussion between Robin and Nami, where they talk about their fellow crewmates’ hygiene, which they do not describe positively.

Haruka Kamatani, who previously worked on the spin-off series One Piece in Love, will direct One Piece: Heroines. Takashi Kojima, best known for Flip Flappers, will work on the character designs, and Momoka Toyoda, best known for One Piece: Fan Letter, will work on the script. Other details, such as release date and formatting, have yet to be announced.

Until the release of more information about One Piece: Heroines, fans can find One Piece, in both sub and dub, on Crunchyroll. Fans can also find the live-action ONE PIECE on Netflix, with season 2 coming soon.
