Bay Area pop culture fans can get excited: Galaxycon San Jose is coming back for its second year! Happening August 15 – 17 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, Galaxycon will have plenty of celebrities to meet, pop culture activities, and small businesses to shop.
Guests
A huge part of Galaxycon’s experience is its guest roster. Galaxycon announced 38 celebrities, 24 voice actors, 22 featured creators, two literary and industry guests, 21 entertainment guests, one professional wrestler, two gaming guests, and seven cosplayers in attendance.
Anime fans can meet voice actors from Jujutsu Kaisen (Adam McArthur, Kaiji Tang, Anne Yatco, Robbie Daymond) and Hazbin Hotel (Erica Lindbeck, Blake Roman, Krystina Alabado) to name a few. Other guests include Johnny Yong Bosch (Ichigo, Bleach), Tara Strong (Bubbles, The Powerpuff Girls), Vivienne Medrano (Creator, Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel), and so many more.
Actors from the popular live action adaptation of One Piece will be signing all weekend: Taz Skylar (Sanji), Jacob Romero (Usopp), Jeff Ward (Buggy), and Steven John Ward (Mihawk).
Galaxycon isn’t just for anime fans; there will be stars from across all genres of pop culture. Stars like Giancarlo Esposito (Gustavo Fring, Breaking Bad franchise), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye, Marvel franchise), Jerry Trainor (“Crazy” Steve, Drake and Josh; Spencer Shay, iCarly) and Matthew Lillard (Stu Macher, Scream) are only a few of the many guests.

Tickets, Convention Hours
Single and multi-day tickets for Galaxycon San Jose are available here and range from $45 to $349. Each ticket comes with different levels of perks; some include merchandise, discounts, or early access to celebrity photo ops.
Show hours are:
Friday, August 15 – Event: 2 p.m. – 2 a.m. | Exhibition: 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, August 16 – Event: 10 a.m. – 2 a.m. | Exhibition: 10 a.m. – 2 a.m.
Sunday, August 17 – Event: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. | Exhibition: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Galaxycon San Jose made its West Coast appearance for the first time last year. GalaxyCon describes itself as the following:
