The Forgers are back and better than ever! TOHO Animation has dropped the first trailer for the upcoming third season of Spy X Family! The trailer promises more missions, comedy, action, and hijinks when the season premieres in October of this year!
What to Expect in Season 3
Season 3’s biggest expectation is the backstory of the series’ male lead, Loid Forger. Loid, known as “Twilight”, is a secret agent for WISE. Since the beginning, many things about Loid have been a mystery. Questions range from “How did he become an agent?” to “Where is his family, and where did he come from?”. The trailer teases this by showing a young Loid holding a weapon. The teaser even poses the query, “Why did the boy become ‘Twilight?”.
Aside from Loid’s backstory, the trailer shows Loid, Yor, and Anya all caught up in their comical shenanigans. Fiona and Frankie go on a mission of their own. Yuri is still trying to expose Loid as a terrible spouse for Yor while trying to figure out Twilight’s identity. Anya and Becky will once again clash with Damian and his lackeys in pursuit of Stella Stars so Anya can help Loid with his mission.
About Spy X Family
Spy X Family follows the story of the Forgers. The Forgers are not a real family, however. Loid Forger creates a family for Operation Strix, a mission for peace between the East and West. To make this family, he adopts Anya. Anya is an orphan who, unknown to Loid, has telepathic abilities. Loid then meets Yor, an employee of the city, and they make a deal to have a fake marriage. Yor also has her own secret, as well. She is also an assassin known as Thorn Princess. Now, all three of them have to try to keep their respective secrets while accomplishing their own goals, no matter what.
