Since the reveal of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, fans have been eagerly waiting for a release date. A recent post on Pokémon’s official social media has now confirmed that the game will launch on October 16th. The announcement also mentioned that Nintendo and The Pokémon Company will host another Pokémon Presents event on July 22nd.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is expected to release on both Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2. Alongside the release news, the game’s box art, key visuals, and new official artwork featuring Mega Evolutions have also been revealed.
The game allows players to help with the urban development plan in Lumiose City, located in the Kalos Region, which was last seen in Pokemon X and Y. Apart from this, details about the game remain limited. However, the participation of a battle league, in Lumiose City, and the Legendary Pokémon Zygarde is expected to play a major role.
Along the course of the game players will come across a cast of intriguing characters, including the returning AZ, who runs the hotel that serves as the player’s base of operations. Other characters, include the rivals, Urbaine and Tawnie, and Jett, the CEO of Quasartico Inc., the company leading the urban development plan.
Pokémon Presents
A new Pokémon Presents livestream is scheduled to premiere on July 22nd. While specifics were not shared about what will be revealed or discussed, it is safe to assume we will receive updates about Legends Z-A, Pokemon Unite, Pocket TCG, and possibly an update on the upcoming Pokemon Champions. It is unknown how long the presentation itself will last, but previous events have lasted about 30-40 minutes,
