Version 1.1 will see the story shift to focus on the conflict between Public Security and the Mountain Lion Gang. It will feature familiar faces from Public Security, like Qingyi, along with new faces like Seth Lowell. Of course, Zhu Yuan will also play a large role in tracking down the Mountain Lion Gang. It won’t be easy, though, going up against Jane Doe. She specializes in disrupting investigations and throwing pursuers off her trail. Proxies will have a front seat to witness her unique talents. All this and more can be experienced in the Special Episode “Undercover R&B.” Watch the promo video below:

The Case of the Missing Bangboo

In addition to this announcement, a new Agent Archive, “The Case of the Missing Bangboo,” will give Proxies the chance to learn more about Qingyi, the Electric Stun Agent. She’s able to quickly build up Daze and Stun damage multipliers, and her Electric attacks charge her “Flash Connect Voltage” that results in powerful finishing strikes.

Proxies will also have the chance to recruit Jane Doe, the Physical Anomaly Agent. With quick precise strikes, she builds up Passion Stream as she fights. At a certain threshold, she enters Passion State and unleashes a series of lightning fast attacks. She has already been identified as a must-have offensive powerhouse! There will also be chances to control Jane Doe directly in the special episode, “Undercover R&B.” As of this update, she will be the only Agent that players can control this way, but the designers have promised that others will also be controllable in New Eridu very soon.

Lastly, there’s Seth Lowell, a new addition to Public Security and the latest Electric Defense Agent. Seth mainly focuses on buffing his allies and defending them with his shield, but he can also combine his shield and baton into a large sword to pummel enemies. Character banners for Qingyi, Jane Doe, and Seth Lowell will be released in that order. Players will also be able to pull for their signature W-Engines. A new Bangboo will also make an appearance, Bangboo Officer Cui, who will synergize well with the other Public Security characters.o.

Version 1.1 will also feature more gameplay and narrative additions. A new “Inferno Reap” mode will be added to Hollow Zero where players can challenge the giant Ethereal, Nineveh, directly without navigating the Monitor Arrays. No “TV gameplay” here, just pure combat. Players may also enjoy a new themed event, “Camellia Golden Week,”, where they can complete various Event Commissions to collect Polychromes, an A-rank W-Engine, and other upgrade items. Even more events will take place throughout Version 1.1. “First-Class Customer Service” will expand Random Play’s business to video player repair. “Daily Life of a PubSec Officer” will put Proxies front and center, helping the residents of New Eridu resolve their problems. “Scene One, Shot One” will add more features and functionality to players’ cameras, including a selfie mode.
