With the highly anticipated premiere of the anime adaptation of Kaiju No. 8 just around the corner, Crunchyroll has announced the first names for the English dub cast. They also released an English dubbed trailer.
About the Series
Based on the popular manga series of the same name, Kaiju No. 8 takes place in a world plagued by monsters known as kaiju that regularly cause incredible amounts of damage and harm to the population. To combat the threat, Japan has established the Anti-Kaiju Defense Force, elite soldiers who fight against the kaiju in order to protect the rest of the citizens. Kafka Hibino is a 32 year old man who has failed multiple attempts to join the Defense Force, and is stuck as part of the post-attack clean up crew. After meeting the young and ambitious Reno Ichikawa, Kafka is inspired to try once again to join the force, but an unlikely encounter changes him forever by giving him the ability to turn into a kaiju himself.
