The battle for freedom and survival is on in Temple City, California. Bearology, best known recently for their previous experiences and attractions such as Demon Slayer Mugen Train and Infinity Castle, Godzilla and League of Legends: Arcane, comes with their newest event in an anticipated celebration for its upcoming third video game, the Attack on Titan Experience. A great challenge awaits us in the form of a fine feast, bottomless plunder, and miniquests to earn a just reward. Make your way to Bearology and step forth into the world of Shiganshina and defend her with an iron stomach.
Expedition Provisions and Field Rations
Scouts in service to the island of Paradis won’t go far on an empty stomach, so we tried our hand at every delectable item on the menu. For the Expedition Provisions, there were Hange’s Beef Stew and Sasha’s Loaded Potato, and for the Field Rations there were the Popcorn Chicken & Chips and the ODM Sword Churro. The stew was an incredibly hearty meal made up of beef chunks, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, a side of white rice, beef broth, and topped with two fried shrimp tempura, marked for conquest with an AoT commemorative flag. The potato was filled to the brim with cheese, chives, chicken, spicy mayonnaise and topped with bonito flakes. The chips were very crispy, along with the many bits of popcorn chicken, but finishing off with the churro was an excellent choice for dessert.
The Spoils of War
With the amount of treasures to be seized, it may do well to hold fast to your wallet because it would be very hard to choose which souvenirs are best suited to have. From plushies to posters, tote bags, sunglasses, these spoils would weigh me down for the next titan siege.

Passing the City Walls Has Its Prize
After filling up on the food, we saddled up and rode through the titan forest in search of our next adventure. With the completion of the Scout Regiment Military Pass Stamp Guide, four tasks were to be completed in order to win the special prize:
- Purchase a Passport from the cashier to receive each stamp, then take a photo op at their photo booth.
- Publicize your visit by posting a selfie on social media and tag them @BEAROLOGYUSA
- Order everything on the menu, but you must finish the Expedition Provisions for the task to be completed
- Return to the cashier and answer a trivia question about Attack on Titan correctly
Where a Titan has Fallen Short
If you or your company is going to the Attack on Titan Experience at Bearology and one or more of your party needs some measure of accessibility, whether it be a walker or wheelchair, the photo op prop next to the doorway is so large it blocks the walkway to the point that those who need accessibility will have to go some distance through the parking lot to the access ramp and come back around to get in the restaurant.
I had to personally address this matter to one of Bearology’s associates. We hope you’d enjoy Attack on Titan’s original soundtrack, especially a one-minute solo guitar riff of Guren no Yumiya by Linked Horizon because it will be playing on loop during your entire stay. The loaded potato itself was delicious assuming you could even see it, the huge layer of bonito flakes topping was really layered on to the point that it gave it a pungent smell that hindered my wanting to eat the rest of the meal. Lastly, beware: the mug has a loose lid. The waitress was kind enough to inform us before handling the Colossal Titan mug that the neck that connects the head to the body was too short to maintain connection and was liable to fall off. Unfortunately, they were right; mine did not make it to my car in one piece.
Keep Fighting to the Last Morsel
I made a reservation for 3 ($10 per person) with Bearology using OpenTable.com. With that, the $30 was deducted as a percentage from every item I purchased throughout my stay at Bearology. The Attack on Titan Experience at Bearology opened on September 13, 2026, and will remain in operation until March 31, 2027. Stay updated on any of their future events on Bearology USA and their items for sale while supplies last. Their previous events were for Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Part 1, so we will be keeping our eyes open for the next film and hopefully the next experience.
But before that, Attack on Titan 3, an action adventure game brought to you by Koei Tecmo, will continue the storyline of its previous installments in the video game franchise and continue the fall of Shiganshina, as well as adding new ODM gear and new story content. Attack on Titan 3 will be released December 10, 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and STEAM for PC.
