The Culling Games are nowhere close to done! TOHO Animation has dropped the first teaser of Season 4 for Jujutsu Kaisen, officially titled Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 2. Things for Yuji, Megumi and their allies have yet to reach the pinnacle of the game, and unknown dangers still await them. This will contain spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 1.
The Teaser
The teaser itself didn’t reveal any footage, instead serving as a reveal for the first official piece of key art for the upcoming season. The art features Sukuna reaching his hand out with a mouth opened on the palm of his hand. After taking a back seat during the events of Season 3, it is clear Sukuna will return to the forefront of the events yet to come. How Yuji will handle both Sukuna’s growing control of himself and Kenjaku and his twisted plans remain to be seen. Fans of the show will just have to wait and see how Yuji’s fight continues when the season officially premieres in the future.
Season 3 Refresher
Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game Part 1 kicked off with a battle between both Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu, who had been assigned to officially execute Yuji for Sukuna’s massacre of Shibuya. After Yuta succeeds, Yuji wakes up, and Yuta reveals he tricked the higher-ups of Jujutsu sorcery and says they are gonna have to work together to hopefully stop the Culling Game. They meet up with Maki Zen’in, Panda and Yuki Tsukumo.
The team then splits to accomplish separate goals. Maki destroys the Zen’in clan after her twin, Mai Zen’in, passes away and awakens Maki’s full potential. Panda tries to save his father figure, Masamichi, but is too late, as he is executed for his role as Geto’s and Gojo’s teacher. Choso and Yuki agree to stay and guard Tengen while Yuji and Megumi try to recruit more help and Yuta enters the Sendai colony for the Culling Game.
After Yuji and Megumi get the help they need, they enter the game and begin trying to get help from less-than-trustworthy players. Yuji battles Hiromi Higuruma, a lawyer marked by Kenjaku whose abilities awoke during a trial in which his client’s innocent verdict was overturned and he was found guilty. Megumi battles Reggie Star and his group of players, and emerges victorious. Reggie then tells Megumi that he himself wasn’t close to Kenjaku, transfers his points to Megumi, and is swiftly executed by Megumi.
Yuta does battle with Kurourushi, a cockroach cursed spirit on a rampage in Sendai, before he enters a three-way battle with Takako Uro and Ryu Ishigori, two of many players reincarnated from the past specifically for the game. Yuta defeats both of the sorcerers and gains a massive amount of points.

That’s where Season 3 has left off, and things are gonna heat up even further in Season 4.
