What? Colourpop and Pokémon’s collection is evolving!
This morning, the duo announced their “Eeveelution” makeup line, dropping July 16 on Colourpop’s website. “Eeveelution” is a portmanteau of “Eevee,” a brown, foxlike Pokémon, and “evolution,” how Pokémon change shape and grow stronger.
The collaboration includes:
- Eeveelution eyeshadow palette
- Eevee- inspired headband
- Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon Multichrome shadow sticks
- Leafeon and Glaceon BFF Liquid Liners
- Eevee, Espeon and Umbreon Fresh Kiss Lip Balms and keychain charms
- Sylveon Gliterally Obsessed Glitter Gel
The collection will also be available at Ulta locations on August 2. Colourpop and Pokémon have previously collaborated on a collection, launching two years ago. The collection may still be purchased on Colourpop’s website.
About Eevee and its Eeveelutions
Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon and Flareon were introduced in Generation One, with the other Eeveelutions appearing in later Generations. Each Eeveelution needs a specific criterion to evolve, whether it be a special stone, time of day, location or friendship.
Eevee is one of the most popular Pokémon due to its adorable character design and ability to evolve into eight different forms. It is the mascot and starter of its own video game, Pokémon, Let’s Go, Eevee!
Eevee and its Eeveelutions are as follows:
- Eevee: A Normal-type that can evolve into eight different forms
- Flareon: A Fire-type that can evolve from Eevee using a Fire Stone.
- Jolteon: An Electric-type that can evolve from Eevee using a Thunder Stone.
- Vaporeon: A Water-type that can evolve from Eevee using a Water Stone.
- Espeon: A Psychic-type that can evolve from Eevee with High Friendship during the day, or by having a Sun Shard in the player’s bag.
- Umbreon: A Dark-type that can evolve from Eevee with High Friendship during the night, or with a Moon Shard in the player’s bag.
- Leafon: A Grass-type that can evolve from Eevee near a Mossy Rock or Leaf Stone.
- Glaceon: An Ice-type that can evolve from Eevee near an Icy Rock or Ice Stone.
- Sylveon: A Fairy-type that can evolve from Eevee with High Friendship and knowing a Fairy-type move.
