The (makeup) journey continues! Colourpop Cosmetics and Pokémon have collaborated on a Pokémon-themed makeup collection. The whole collection was revealed with makeup swatches on Tuesday morning via Instagram.
Colourpop x Pokémon Collection
The following makeup products will be in the Colourpop x Pokémon collection:
- Transforming pH Lip Balm – Three lip balms featuring Jigglypuff, Pikachu and Ditto
- “You’re a Catch” Berry Lip Mask – In the shape of a Pokeball
- “Pallet Town” Palette – 24 pan eyeshadow colors featuring Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle on the top cover, various Generation One Pokemon on the inside cover
- Ultra Glossy Lip Trio – Featuring the eeveelutions Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon
- Instant Crush Cream Blush – Three blushes featuring Clefable, Pikachu and Gengar on the front, various Pokemon on the inside
- Super Shock Shadows, three separate shadows featuring Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle
Mega fans of the Indigo League are in luck, as the products are related or have reference to the first season and generation of Pokémon. Names such as “S.S. Anne,” “Jelly Donut,” and “Drying Pan” can be seen in the Pallet Town palette, which also pays homage to cities in the Kanto region such as “Celadon City,” “Lavender Town,” and “Fuschia City” to name a few.
Colourpop is no stranger to collaborations with anime and cartoons. Its previous work includes, but not limited to, Naruto, Sailor Moon, Hello Kitty and Friends, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Beauty and the Beast.
Prices for the collaboration have not been revealed yet, but makeup and Pokémon fans can expect to spend anywhere from $9 to $30 on single products based on Colourpop’s previous collaborations and product prices.
