Attack on Titan: The Last Season Re-Releasing in Theaters

Relive the experience of the last season of Attack on Titan on the big screen! For one night only on May 18th, Attack on Titan: The Last Season is being brought to theaters in the United States and Canada in 4K high definition. Tickets for the United States screening can be found here, and tickets for Canada screenings can be found here. The showing will be displayed in Japanese with English subtitles. The synopsis of the screening is displayed below.

Having uncovered Paradis’s brutal history and the world’s hatred for Eldians, he commits to eliminating all threats. Written by Hajime Isayama, the story of Attack on Titan follows a young Eren Yeager whose peaceful life behind the walls is disrupted at the hands of man-eating Titans. Alongside his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert, the trio of friends ventures outside the walls to find the source of the Titans. Throughout the story, Eren and his friends uncover government conspiracies, political conflict, and plunge themselves into the face of war as they desperately try to claim their freedom.

The Attack on Titan anime spanned from 2013 through 2023 with Wit Studio (Vinland Saga, Freiren: Beyond Journey’s End, Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc) animating the first 3 seasons and MAPPA (Dorohedoro, Jujutsu Kaisen, Hell’s Paradise) animating season 4. Despite the anime ending in November of 2023, the series has cemented itself in the core of the anime community. By the end of Attack on Titan’s animated run, the manga had grossed over 140 million copies, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
