Chainsaw Man Cast Panel at Anime Las Vegas 2026

It’s the fourth annual Anime Las Vegas 2026, with one of the final panels of the day, Chainsaw Man. And what better way to have a panel with the main Marvel himself, Ryan Colt Levy, the voice actor for Denji, where we talk about the genius that is Tatsuki Fujimoto, author and creator of Chainsaw Man, and the uncanny performance by Suzie Yeung.

KII CHU-CHU-PITU-RIIIIIIIII!!! Get your motors revving and ready to slice up some demons while eating strawberry jam on toast because it’s time for the Chainsaw Man Cast panel, only on Anime Fire.

The Cast Panel

For this panel, we had Ryan Colt Levy with Michelle Maka as the Moderator. Suzie Yeung (Makima) and Jason Marnocha (Katana Man) unfortunately could not make it. Suzie had caught a fever and Jason had to cut his time at the convention short and catch a flight. Ryan talks about his backstory of struggles with life and how he relates so much to Denji personally, and the chemistry between himself and Suzie Yeung when she plays Makima.

“Thank you for bringing Denji to life.”

Ryan starts off by saying how he has had several conversations with attendees prior to the panel, and would like to let everyone know how it has been the greatest honor of his life and how deeply important this character has been to him. Not just Denji, but the manga he found prior to the announcement of the show, how it impacted his life, and as he put it, “saved him” in a time he didn’t know he needed saving, to be seen in those characters in Tatsuki Fujimoto’s writing. As thankful as he is to play Denji, he still considers himself to be just as much a fan and to be a part of it is such a privilege.

Ryan didn’t just describe Denji in one sentence; he described him in one word, which is “feral”. When connecting to Denji’s struggle and survival, Ryan explains how he used to live in a garage apartment that was behind a house that didn’t have a kitchen, which was prone to flooding. The word feral meant that it was his constant struggle not to give, and to keep moving forward, which brought Ryan that much closer to connecting with Denji.

“BUT WHAT ABOUT DENJI’S HEART?!”

The part in the manga that Ryan believed made him “lose his mind” was when Aki summoned the fox devil. Having read the manga before the anime and being chosen for the role, Ryan was incredibly stoked knowing that at some point he (Denji) was going to ride Beam. But, when talking about the other cast members, Ryan could help but sing Suzie Yeung’s praises when she voices Makima. The way she mesmerizes her audience with this focus pull with her voice, almost “like a spell”.

“Okay, Denji. What will you dream of next?”

Chainsaw Man Volume 22 is set to be released in October 2026. There has been no official release date for the Reze Arc movie on any streaming platform, but it has been estimated to be as soon as the spring of 2026.
