NijiFest Announces its Second Annual Queer-Focused Anime Convention

The perfect gift has arrived just in time for the holidays! To all families, friends and enbies, mark your calendars: NijiFest is back. Next year, your favorite queer-focused anime convention will be coming to Anaheim. Badges are available right now, which would be the perfect stocking stuffer.

It’s back, bigger, better and gayer than ever. NijiFest 2026 will be at the Hotel Fera from May 15-17. Doors open at 10 a.m. (PST) with an Early-Bird Special 3-Day badge prices being sold right now at such a low price of just under $60. But, if you really want to show your love and support for the LGBTQ community, you could also purchase the Community Sponsor or Rainbow Sponsor badges. Each has its own unique perks, from skipping lines, special badge art or having yourself featured on NijiFest’s website.

All Hands on Deck

As of now, NijiFest is working tirelessly to give you the best experience you can with upcoming guests, panels, vendors, cosplay contests and meetups. Any and all submissions for vendors and panels are welcome to anyone who would like to participate in the event, as well as volunteers. Get yourself involved with their committees if you’d like to help out with hands-on planning or any other areas that would feel more comfortable for you, leading up to the event.
