The Cast Panel

What would anime be without great voice acting? Dedicated, hard-working people who’ve honed their craft into a beautiful art form for their audience, who have made the love of anime all the more special with their presence at Pasadena. What we’re covering for you here is the Question and Answers panel of the Jujutsu Kaisen English dub cast.

For this panel, we had Adam McArthur (Yuji Itadori), Lex Lang (Suguru Geto, Kenjaku), Kaiji Tang (Satoru Gojo), Allegra Clark (Maki Zenin, Kasumi Miwa), Anne Yatco (Nobara Kugisaki) and Xander Mobus (Toge Inumaki, Aoi Todo), with Universally Geeky as the Moderator. The cast reviews their takes on the anime and their characters. One discussion in particular is Adam McAurthur’s answer to what his fans can take away from his character’s story.

“No matter what happens to you, you have to just keep going.”

Allegra Clark had her own response, which this writer believes can accurately depict in everyone’s lives and of her character Maki about the meaning of self-worth, and to “never let anyone tell you that you are not enough”. Anne Yatco followed up about Nobara and how she tended to view herself as the “lone wolf” of the group, only to realize a new family had adopted her. Nobara became appreciative of the people around her and how important they were in helping her develop into the character she is today.

“Uhhh, sorry, but I ate that thing.”

Coming back around, Adam McArthur on his rendition of Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen, he has really taken up the mantle of being the quintessential “good boy”, and that with all the bad stuff that had happened to him, for example, at the end of season two it was Kenjaku that ends Mahito and that Yuji doesn’t get to do it. From losing his friends to losing his chance at revenge, Yuji doesn’t wallow in despair and regret. He just presses on, reminiscent of an old saying, “Evil wins when good men do nothing.”

Jujutsu Kaisen, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory are currently available to stream on platforms such as Hulu, Netflix and Crunchyroll. Season three is set to premiere on January 8, 2026, and the movie Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution will be released in the U.S. on December 5, 2025. Manga such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo are available on VIZ Media.
