Since the mobile game, Twisted Wonderland, was released into U.S. servers in 2022, fans have been dying to know what their favorite characters would sound like in English. Now with the upcoming release on Disney+, the Twisted Wonderland anime has an official English dub.
Premiering on October 29th, 2025, on Disney+ this anime series will have eight episodes in its three-season adaptation.
Anime Synopsis
The story of Twisted Wonderland will follow the same suit as the iconic mobile game, however since in the game you are free to play as your own protagonist, the anime has taken some creative liberties. The anime has created a main protagonist called “Yuu” who will have different genders and appearances in the different arcs of the show.
The protagonist, Yuu, is unknowingly and accidentally summoned to a magical school named the Night Raven College. This arcane academy is divided into several different houses (dorms). Each dorm and their members are based on and inspired by classic Disney villains. These are the houses:
- Heartslabyul: Based on the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland
- Savanaclaw: Based on Scar from The Lion King
- Octavinelle: Based on Ursula from The Little Mermaid
- Scarabia: Based on Jafar from Aladdin
- Pomefiore: Based on the Evil Queen from Snow White
- Ignihyde: Based on Hades from Hercules
- Disaomnia: Based on Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty
While Yuu has no magical powers and cannot live in one of these dorms, they live in an abandoned campus and get involved with each of the different houses in their respectable arcs.

Twisted Wonderland is notorious for having a giant cast of characters, while this first half of the season will only focus on Heartslabyul members, the full cast for all characters has been released. Check out the cast below:

The Hype for Twisted Wonderland
With Twisted Wonderland the game having roughly around 4.4 million U.S. downloads, it is not at all surprising that an English dub be implemented, however no word has been said if this cast of voice actors will be recording dialogue for the current or future game updates.
