The epic team-up of Crunchyroll, TOHO Animation, the National Basketball Association (NBA), NBALAB and HYPERFLY went plus ultra once again, bringing another My Hero Academia x NBA collaboration. The collaboration will feature seven NBA teams paired with seven different My Hero Academia characters on streetwear and other apparel.
Since the final season of My Hero Academia started streaming on Crunchyroll on October 4, and the 2025-26 NBA season begins later this month on October 21, the collaboration arrived at the perfect time.
The collaboration features:
- Boston Celtics and Izuku Midoriya
- New York Knicks and Katsuki Bakugo
- Miami Heat and Ochaco Uraraka
- Philadelphia 76ers and Shoto Todoroki
- Chicago Bulls and Eijiro KirishimaÂ
- Golden State Warriors and Endeavor
- Los Angeles Lakers and Mirko
The collaboration will be available at BoxLunch stores, some NBA stores and online later in October. However, NYC fans will be able to check out the collaboration at the NBA Flagship store on Fifth Avenue this weekend.
This isn’t the first time My Hero Academia has collaborated with the NBA. Two years ago, Crunchyroll and the NBA released licensed streetwear featuring All Might, alongside different teams, such as the Chicago Bulls, L.A. Lakers and the New York Knicks.
My Hero Academia’s Final Season
Almost 10 years since the first season of My Hero Academia premiered, the final season began streaming just a few days ago. This season will adapt manga chapters 398 through 430. Season 8 of My Hero Academia will focus on the end of the Final War and the Epilogue arcs featured in the manga.
Some major moments in the final season include the ending of battles between Deku and Shigaraki, as well as All Might and All For One. Additionally, since this is the final season of My Hero Academia, Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the manga, has been incredibly involved in the production. Overall, Horikoshi has been overseeing the script, creating sketches and offering suggestions throughout the process.
As anime fans enjoy the final season of My Hero Academia and basketball fans anxiously await the 80th NBA season, we cannot wait to get our hands on their collaboration apparel.Â
