Since season two ended in 2019, One Punch Man fans anxiously awaited the return of the beloved series. The wait is almost over! One Punch Man season 3 will stream on October 5th on Hulu.
Alongside the season 3 announcement came a key visual, which highlighted “The Scariest versus The Strongest.”
Season 3’s Staff
This season, Shinpei Nagai will direct One Punch Man, taking over the role from season 2 director Chikara Sakurai. Nagai previously directed Dogeza: I Tried Asking While Kowtowing and I Can’t Understand What My Husband is Saying.
Following the announcement of Nagai’s role in season 3, Nagai took to X (formerly Twitter) to address fans’ concerns about the unknown director. While explaining his journey to this point, Nagai ended the statement, urging fans to ask away, answering numerous questions in the replies to ensure he built trust with the One Punch Man community.
Studio J.C.Staff will continue to animate One Punch Man, as they previously worked on season 2 of the anime. Tomohiro Suzuki continues his role working on composition alongside Chikashi Kubota. Makato Miyazaki works as the music composer. Ryosuke Shirokawa and Shinjiro Kuroda work as character designers for season 3.
Many voice actors will return for season 3. Makoto Furwaka, who voices Saitama, and Kaito Ishikawa, who voices Genos, will return for the Japanese cast. As for the English dub cast, Max Mittelman will return to voice Saitam, and Zach Aguilar will return to voice Genos.
About One Punch Man
Based on the series written by ONE, One Punch Man follows the insanely powerful Saitama, a hero who can defeat enemies with a single punch. Season 3 will adapt the Monster Association arc. The Monster Association arc highlights the war between the Monster Association and the Hero Association, spoiling fans with intense battles.
With epic fight scenes ready for October, One Punch Man fans are in for a treat. Until its release, fans can stream seasons 1 and 2 on Hulu.
