Let’s go back to the Cursed House for a DAN DA DAN theatrical release and season two! Fans can experience a special preview of the first three episodes in a DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye theatrical event starting June 6. The film will cover the Cursed House Arc. Momo Ayase and Okarun help Ayase’s childhood friend Jiji with the evil spirit haunting his home. For fans who can’t make it to theatres, DAN DA DAN has announced its season 2 release date: July 3.
DAN DA DAN Season 2 and Theatrical Release
GKIDS Films released a teaser trailer for DAN DA DAN: Evil Eye, which shows our main characters at the Cursed House. The group meets The Avatar of Hatred, a malicious being with an Evil Eye who has been tormenting Jiji.
The teaser trailer also features antagonist Naki Kito, head of the Kito Family. They are in charge of the village where Jiji lives, and she will do whatever it takes to protect her village.
Series Synopsis
High schooler Momo Ayase comes from a family of mediums, and her friend Ken Takakura “Okarun” is obsessed with occults. The two don’t see eye-to-eye when it comes to the supernatural: Ayase believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts.
However, the two try to prove each other wrong: Ayase visits an abandoned hospital where a UFO was seen, and Okarun goes to a haunted tunnel. Though skeptical, the two experience paranormal experiences and awaken powers within themselves. Somewhere along the line, their love story unfolds.
