Not only do ghosts, aliens and love exist, but so does DAN DA DAN season two! Following today’s finale and cliffhanger, Let’s Go to the Cursed House, the official DAN DA DAN X (formerly Twitter) account announced that the anime will continue for season two, coming in July 2025. Season two will continue the Cursed House Arc, where Momo Ayase and Okarun help Momo’s childhood friend Jiji with the evil spirit haunting his house.

To celebrate the announcement of DAN DA DAN season two, the series released a new visual featuring Momo, Okarun, and Turbo Granny in her cat form. Behind the trio, Evil Eye ominously looms behind Jiji, with a horned kaiju at the bottom and various household items like picture frames and a violin floating in the background. Our alien and occult lovers are sure in for an unpredictable, supernatural adventure in the coming season!
Crunchyroll announced that season two will stream on its platform. Also, fans can read ahead on VIZ Media and Shonen Jump, with over 170 chapters available.
DAN DA DAN Synopsis
High schooler Momo Ayase comes from a family of mediums, and her friend Ken Takakura “Okarun” is obsessed with occults. The two don’t see eye-to-eye when it comes to the supernatural: Ayase believes in ghosts but not aliens, while Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts.
However, the two try to prove each other wrong: Ayase visits an abandoned hospital where a UFO was seen, and Okarun goes to a haunted tunnel. Though skeptical, the two experience paranormal experiences, and awaken powers within themselves. Somewhere along the line, their love story unfolds…
