In the new trailer for Gachiakuta, viewers get a glimpse of the story and some of the major characters.

Gachiakuta follows series protagonist, Rudo Surebrec, as he is falsely accused of the murder of his foster father. Due to being a “tribesman”, or the lower class, he is immediately charged with the murder and sent into The Pit.

The Pit is where the wealthy dump anything they deem as trash, including criminals. After being dumped into The Pit, he is attacked by monsters made of trash and is saved by Enjin, a member of The Cleaners. After awakening his abilities as a “Giver”, Enjin recruits Rudo as a member to the cleaners. Rudo, now fueled by his craving for revenge, agrees to join The Cleaners. He plans to return to the surface with their help and enact revenge against the true killer and those who falsely accused him.

After joining The Cleaners, he meets the other members. Zanka Nijiku is a warrior and trained combatant whose family has a connection with the Hell Guards. Riyo Reaper is an energetic member who used to be a hitman. Semiu serves as the receptionist for The Cleaners and helps examine the capacities of a Giver with her vital instrument, Eyes.
