After waiting two years, since season 2 finished, the battles are finally continuing in Record of Ragnarok! A third season of the hit anime has finally been confirmed with a new teaser trailer as well.
Record of Ragnarok III Season 3
Record of Ragnarok will continue its exclusive partnership with Netflix for season three. However, the official release date has yet to be announced.
With the gods disappointed by humanity, they decided to eliminate all of humankind. However, Valkyrie Brunhilde, creates a concept of 13 one-on-one battles. Staged between history’s strongest humans and gods of various cultures, battling for, or against humanity’s future. Humanity is completely gone or is saved for another millennium when the first team wins seven matches.
Record of Ragnarok III Trailer
Record of Ragnarok III will continue the epic battles, with fans seeing which team will break the 3-3 tie. The teaser trailer reveals that the next animated battle will be the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, vs. the God of the Dead, Hades.
Fans expect Season 3 to cover three battles. The other two, the battle of genius inventor, Nikola Tesla, vs. the Lord of the Flies, Beelzebub. Also, the King of Sparta, Leonidas vs. the God of the Sun and Music, Apollo, are likely to be seen this season. Additionally, Huang vs. Hades.
Key Creative Team Behind Record of Ragnarok III
Directing Record of Ragnarok III will be Koichi Hatsumi, with the screenplay written by Yasuyaki Mutō, character designs by Yōko Tanabe and Hisashi Kawashima, and music composed by Yasuharu Takanashi. The animation production will be done by Yumeta Company and collaborating with MARU Animation.
The manga was written by Shinya Umemura, with Azychika doing the art, and Takumi Fukui creating the story structure. Fukui has gone on record about season 3, expressing his excitement for this season’s matches, and how well humanity’s strongest will do in battle in interviews.
Fans can watch the first two seasons of Record of Ragnarok, on Netflix, until the official release date of season 3.
