Bleach’s official social media accounts and website announced the title of the fourth part: Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity. Along with the title announcement came a visual teaser and a trailer for the next part.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War follows the concluding arc of the Bleach manga by Tite Kubo. The manga was published from August 2001 to August 2016. The anime ran from October 2004 to March 2012, with 366 episodes.
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War streamed from October 2022 to December 2022, over 10 years after the original anime ended. Part 2, The Separation, streamed from July to September 2022, and part 3, The Conflict, streamed from October 2024 to December 2024. The finale of part 3 came out recently. Therefore, the announcement came as no surprise to see the story continue.
However, there is currently no official release date for part 4. As a new part comes out every year, fans can expect Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity, to come out anytime in 2025.
As Chief Director for the last parts, Tomohisu Taguchi will likely continue his role at the studio PIERROT FILMS alongside Director Hikaru Murata. Taguchi worked alongside Masaki Hiramatsu to provide the composition, with music by Shiro Sagisu and character designs by Masashi Kudo.
About the Series
Bleach follows a high schooler who can see ghosts, Ichigo Kurosaki, who obtains soul reaper powers from another soul reaper named Rukia Kuchiki. The anime follows Kurosaki’s adventures as he takes on and saves the world from “Hollows,” a soul-eating spirit. Furthermore, with its popularity, Bleach joined Naruto and One Piece to create the “Big Three” of anime, earning the title for its popularity during Shonen Jump’s golden age in the 2000s.Â
While we excitedly wait for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 – The Calamity to start streaming, fans can watch all of Bleach and the other three parts of the final arc on Hulu in the United States and Disney+ internationally.
