Sakamoto Days (Art and Story by Yuto Suzuki)
Beneath Japan’s peaceful exterior is a wide-reaching assassin network. The Japanese Assassin Association (JAA), has strict codes of conduct and a zero tolerance policy for traitors. Taro Sakamoto was considered the best assassin the JAA had to offer. Deadly, heartless, and efficient, nothing could stand in his way. Then he fell in love, retired as an assassin, got married, had a kid, and is now out of shape. Currently, he runs a quiet little convenience store on the outskirts of Tokyo. Despite turning over a new leaf, his skills and instincts for assassination are as sharp as ever, though he conceals them so his family won’t worry. Even so, plenty of people hold grudges or seek notoriety, and the JAA has no intention of letting Sakamoto run free. Episode 1 of the anime drops Jan. 11, 2025.
Honey Lemon Soda (Art and Story by Mayu Murata)
Uka Ishimori spent her middle school days all alone. Against a storm of bullying, she was forced to close her heart and wear a mask of stone. High school begins, and she wants nothing more than to live a fun and fulfilling life, but breaking out of her shell is easier said than done. Shadows of her past still haunt her, and she can’t find the words to speak up for herself. Then she meets Kai Miura, a classmate whose blond hair reminds her of honey lemon soda. On the surface, they seem like polar opposites, but his invigorating presence inspires Uka to finally take action and change her fate. Episode 1 of the anime drops Jan. 8, 2025.
