Shonen Jump and Jujutsu Kaisen manga creator, Gege Akutami, have recently announced that the series is swiftly reaching its conclusion. Only four chapters remain of the hit series, with the final chapter expected to release on September 30th.

End of the "Jujutsu Kaisen" Manga
Since 2018, Jujutsu Kaisen has captivated fans through its intense story, interesting characters, and high-stakes battles. We have seen the series protagonist, Yuji Itadori, develop from a somewhat normal high-school student into an impressive Jujutsu sorcerer. We have also watched fellow characters like Yuta Okkotsu and Maki Zenin come into their own in the midst of the final battle against Sukuna. With the final battle still in progress, it remains unseen as to how the battle and the series will wrap up. The fate of fan-favorite character Megumi Fushigoro is also still up in the air.
Gege Akutami has released a small statement regarding the ending of the series. He states that he is hard at work making the final chapter and hopes the ending will satisfy the readers. Gege Akutami said he is able to end the story in the way he wants and is thankful for the fans’ support throughout the years. Despite the manga ending, there will still be more for fans of the series to enjoy. An adaptation of the Culling Game Arc is in production. Whether this will be a part of a potential third season or a formatted into a film is unknown.
About the Series
Jujutsu Kaisen follows a group of people who have a special, supernatural power known as “cursed energy.” These sorcerers protect the people of Japan from “cursed spirits” that are manifestations of human fear and negative emotions. The story focuses on high school protagonist Yuji Itadori and his friends Megumi Fushiguro and Nobara Kugisaki. They are enrolled in Jujutsu High in Toyko, under the tutelage of their sensei, Satoru Gojo as they learn how to hone their skills and take down curses.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Cursed Clash is available for purchase on current gen consoles and still receives updates. Both seasons of the anime and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film is currently on Crunchyroll. All current chapters are on Viz Media’s website, and physical volumes can be purchased wherever books are sold.
