We hope you have been enjoying Kaiju No. 8 as much as we have! For those wondering if there will be a second season, we have some good news for you. Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 has been confirmed to be in the works. There is no release date yet. However, Crunchyroll confirmed the new season and will be streaming it along with the first 12 episodes. The first season finished up last weekend, and the English dub premiered today, July 13th.
About Kaiju No. 8
Kaiju No. 8 takes place in an alternate version of reality where Kaiju, or giant monsters, run rampant throughout the world. Kafka Hibino, a thirty-two-year-old former kaiju cleanup worker, becomes one of the most powerful humanoid kaiju after a smaller kaiju enters his body. Soon after becoming “Kaiju No. 8,” he joins a task force in Japan that hunts kaiju known as the Third Division. It’s a great blend of comedy and action, with a great sense of humanity in the story as well. Not just Kafka trying to juggle the hardest secret ever, but other characters trying to prove they mean something in this world.
Kaiju No. 8 Season 2

There is no confirmed release date for the second season, but the manga is available both physically and digitally if you want to know what happens next. The manga can be found on Shonen Jump/Viz Media. The anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.
