It’s time to get excited, Dr. STONE fans! This beloved anime is returning for its fourth and final season, titled SCIENCE FUTURE.
Dr. STONE celebrated the 5th anniversary of the anime’s premiere on July 5. To get fans 10 billion percent more excited about the new season and anniversary, Crunchyroll revealed the following key visual at its industry panel during Anime Expo 2024, on July 6.
As of the time of reporting, there is no confirmed air date for Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE. The anime’s fourth and final season was first revealed at the end of 2023.
About Dr. Stone
Manga writer Riichiro Inagaki and manga artist Boichi created the science-based manga Dr. STONE in 2017, which ran until 2022 across 27 volumes. Animated by TMS Entertainment, the first season debuted in 2019 and ran for 24 episodes. A second season, Dr. STONE Stone Wars, aired in early 2021 and ran for 11 episodes. A special episode dedicated to the character Ryusui was released in 2022. The third season, Dr. STONE New World, aired 22 episodes throughout 2023.

Dr. Stone Synopsis
Thousands of years ago, a mysterious green light washed over humanity and turned humans into stone. Senku Ishigami, a brilliant teenager and young scientist, breaks out of the stone and is determined to bring back all of humanity using his science knowledge. With the help of his brawny friend Taiju Oki who broke free at the same time, as well as the villagers currently living in the stone world, the group works together to revive all seven billion petrified people, recreate old / new technology, and build a “Kingdom of Science” in the process.
