FINAL FANTASY VII: ADVENT CHILDREN COMPLETE is coming to more than 650 US theaters on February 21 (Dubbed) and 22 (Subbed) ahead of the launch of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

This version of the film is the director’s cut of the 2005 Japanese film directed by Tetsuya Nomura, written by Kazushige Nojima, and produced by Yoshinori Kitase and Shinji Hashimoto. This is the first time in history that the director’s cut will be given a theatrical run!

Final Fantasy VII (FFVII) was first released in 1997 by Square Enix but recently had a remake released in 2020. Final Fantasy is so popular and beloved that on January 31, 2023, the 26th anniversary of FFVII, Square Enix officially registered that day as “Final Fantasy VII Day” in Japan.
Final Fantasy VII is a role-playing video game that follows mercenary Cloud Strife, who joins an eco-terrorist organization, AVALANCHE, to help stop mega-corporation Shinra Electric Power Company from draining the planet’s lifestream to powering their company. Initially, Cloud only offered to help for the money, but after many shocking revelations and friendships are formed, he finds himself fully invested in the cause. It’s up to Cloud and AVALANCHE to save the planet!
The film FINAL FANTASY VII: ADVENT CHILDREN COMPLETE takes place after the events of the game when three mysterious men kidnap and brainwash the city’s children, who are poisoned with an invariably fatal disease. Cloud, who has been living in isolation, is forced to face his demons and fight to save the children.
