Nearly two months after the announcement of the new Given film title and release date, Eita Given: Hiiragi Mix, a new key visual and official trailer has been dropped for the film. The first part of the two-part film will debut in Japanese theaters on January 27.
Given Film Key Visual, Trailer, and Song
The latest theme song for this film was dropped along with the latest visual and trailer. Centimillimental, a solo Japanese Rock band by Atsushi, will return to the Given series to perform the theme song “Super Ultra I LOVE YOU.” Previously, Centimillimental performed the opening theme songs “Kizuato” and “Bokura Dake no Shudaika” in previous seasons of the anime.
Given is a boy’s love anime based on Natsuki Kazu’s manga. The series focuses on the band, named “Given,” and the different relationships between the members of the band. The series starts by focusing on the two main characters, Mafuyu Sato and Ritsuka Uenoyama’s emotional rollercoaster of a relationship.
However, Eita Given: Hiiragi Mix focuses on Hiiragi Kashima and his relationships with fellow band members Mafuyu Sato, also his childhood friend, and Shizusumi Yagi.
In March, the sequel was announced with a short trailer, introducing a sneak peek at some of the new music for the film. Later in August, it was revealed that the Given sequel film would be a two-part series, however, there is no information on the second film as of right now.
Although the official release date for Japan has dropped, fans are waiting for the film’s release date around the world. Currently, the series has an 11-episode season and a film, which were released in 2019 and 2020.
While we impatiently wait for the newest film and more heart-wrenching dynamics, fans can find the first season of Given anime and the previous film on Crunchyroll.
