It is official – the final part of the legendary anime series Attack on Titan is coming to Crunchyroll on Saturday November 4, 2023.

It was previously announced that Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2, which has now been confirmed to be close to an hour and a half long, would premiere on November 4th in Japan. Crunchyroll announced today that the finale will also be available on the streaming service on the 4th or 5th in the United States and Canada, Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, and select territories in Southeast Asia. Due to time differences, specific times will be provided by Crunchyroll News beginning tomorrow.
Crunchyroll has also confirmed that they will be releasing the English, German, Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese dubs of the episode, although a release has not been announced yet.
A final subtitled trailer for the upcoming finale was released last week, showing some of the last moments of the anime series that has been running since 2013.
The manga, written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, was completed in 2021, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the remaining part of the story to be animated. The fourth season has been ongoing since 2020, with the most recent part known as Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 1 having come out in March of this year.
This last special picks up where the previous one ended – with Eren Jaeger’s Founding Titan facing down the remaining Scouts, including his oldest friends Mikasa and Armin, as they try to stop the march of devastation he started known as The Rumbling. For those who have followed Eren’s journey since the beginning, it is a bittersweet goodbye as the series finally ends, but it is equally exciting to know that a finale years in the making is just days away.
For anyone that still wants more, the worldwide after party, an online event for fans to celebrate the end of the anime featuring the animation production team and cast, will commence on November 5th following the premiere.
