Tokyo Revengers is getting ready for an all new season to be released on October 3rd, and with the new season comes a lot of familiar and new faces to the series. This season features Tenjiku, a rival gang of the Tokyo Manji Gang, from Yokohama.
About Tokyo Revengers
Tokyo Revengers, an anime that follows protagonist Takemich Hanahaki as he travels back in time to his youth where he joins his friends from the Tokyo Manji Gang and tries to save them from terrible fates in the future. With the release of the new season, there are quite a few new faces that are being added to the line up. This season features Tenjiku, a rival gang of Tokyo Manji Gang, from Yokohama.
Tenjiku Members
Tenjiku is set to be the main antagonist of the entire season. So let’s get a breakdown of some of the key members we will be seeing:
Izana Kurokawa is Tenjiku’s boss and leader. He plays a similar role as Mikey does in Toman. Izana is said to have “unbeatable senses” and is highly admired by his subordinates.
Kakucho is the of the Four Heavenly Kings and Izana’s right hand man. He and Izana have been friends since they met in their childhood and have dreamed about making Tenjiku the top.
Ran Haitani is another one of Tenjiku’s Four Heavenly Kings. He and his brother are also known as the Roppongi’s Charisma where they used to “govern.”
Rindo Haitani is the younger brother of Ran and a Tenjiku executive. He is a sadist who finds joy in fights and causing pain to whoever may be wrapped up in his and his brothers dealings.
Kanji Mochizuki is the third of Tenjiku’s Heavenly Four. He holds honor in high regard and always wants to fight the “right” way. For him, this means one on one with no undermining tactics.
Shion Madarame is the final of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku and past leader of the 9th generation of Black Dragons. He is known as a blood thirsty “mad dog.”
The key players in Tenjiku are sure to throw viewers for a loop, as they are more brutal and dark personalities. But watchers should make note that this arc will be a huge turning point for the story and we will be seeing a much more gruesome and brutal side to Ken Wakui’s story.
