Netflix’s Live-Action ONE PIECE Is Almost Ready To Set Sail

In a recent release, Netflix announced the release date, teaser, and first looks for the live-action ONE PIECE adaptation.

The news came from a series of Tweets from Eiichiro Oda, the creator of ONE PIECE, who announced that they were “in the final process” of the show. While the exact release date has yet to be confirmed, fans of the series can expect to see the eight-episode series this year. 

Along with the news regarding the release, Netflix also shared the completed cast. The cast includes Iñaki Goody as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skyler as Kanji.

Additional members of the cast include Peter Gadiot as Shanks, Morgan Davies as Koby, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Aidan Scott as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III as Arlong, and Vincent Regan as Garp.

Now all ONE PIECE fans can do is wait for a release date. Thankfully, there are over 1000 episodes of the anime available for streaming on Netflix.
