Ever wanted to live in a place where all the streets were named after Pokémon? There is a neighborhood in the Vegas Valley that is currently under construction that is about to make any Pokémon fan’s dreams come true!
Serenity Place, the newest project by Harmony Homes located in Henderson, NV, gives its residents a unique space of living. Each street is named after a famous Gen 1 Pokémon! Street names include fan favorites like Snorlax, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Charmander, and Charizard.
“It’s really, really hard to name streets in this town,” Andrea Miller, Construction Manager at Harmony Homes LLC, explained to local news channel KLAS 8 News.
During Miller’s interview, she reveals that the inspiration for the street names came from none other than her two sons, who are huge fans of the franchise. All the street names she picked were her family’s favorites, and at the top of the list, as the most beloved Pokémon in their household, was Jigglypuff.
“When I hear Jigglypuff, I giggle,” Miller tells KLAS 8 News. “When you’re coming home from work and you had a bad day and you have to turn on Jigglypuff Lane, that will make you smile.”
This isn’t the first time Harmony Homes has used unique names for their neighborhood streets. In fact, one of their other developments in North Las Vegas has streets inspired by Paw Patrol!
