During the MAPPA Stage 2023 event on Sunday, a new promotional trailer and character visuals for the second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime were revealed!
The second season of the hit series Jujutsu Kaisen is set to air July 6 for two cours. During that time two arcs from the original manga will be adapted, the “Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu” arc and the “Shibuya Incident” arc.
Below, is a look into the second season’s newest trailer that previews the anime’s opening theme song, “Ao no Sumika” (Blue House) by Tatsuya Kitani.
Those pictured in the new character visuals for the upcoming season are as follows:

- Nobara Kugisaki
- Maki Zen’in
- Toge Inumaki
- Panda
- Satoru Gojo
- Kento Nanami
Voice actors Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro), Asami Seto (Nobara Kugisaki), and Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu) were also in attendance at the event.
Crunchyroll describes the series as such:
“Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses... and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.”
