Calling all Digidestined! Over this past weekend, AnimeJapan 2023 was jam-packed with amazing reveals, and a new trailer for Digimon Adventure 02 THE BEGINNING happened to be one of them!
Originally announced at DigiFes 2021 back in August of 2021, we found out that Digimon was getting a featured film set to screen in Japan, October 27, with no exact date as of yet on when it will be showcased in theaters internationally. Since then, we have had no major updates until recently during AnimeJapan, where they released both a key visual and a new trailer of the anime film.

The film is set to take place in 2012, in an aged up version of the original Digidestined. The story follows Daisuke (Davis), who will meet Rei Owada, a new character who descends from the Tokyo Tower claiming they are the first person to partner with a Digimon.
