As if we weren’t already glued to our smartphones and wireless devices, the teams at anime producer & overall media heavyweight Kadokawa really want to ensure there is enough Re:Zero content to go around. How? With the recent announcement of a new mobile game called Re:Zero Witches Re:surrection! Explore the world with Subaru and crew, battling fierce opponents across the Kingdom of Lugnica and beyond!
A teaser trailer and key visual were released over the weekend, during the AnimeJapan stage event, and we love a playable storyline! Check out the trailer below:
I’m sure many are genuinely looking forward to this game and with good cause! The cut scenes are entertaining, and although we didn’t get very much gameplay in this trailer, what we have seen is promising. The graphics are fun to take in and the music adds an adventuresome air to the mix. It is very reminiscent of millennial childhoods with the n64-esque scenery, yet modernized character design utilizing anime CGI creates a unique art style that seems like it will be a blast to play.
