For any fans worried about Daisuke Sakuma’s performance as Shin Kohazame, don’t be. Sakuma was a longtime reader of the KILL BLUE manga when it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. Not only that, but Sakuma expressed that Kohazame was his favorite character, making him extra determined to book the role.

“Shin is cool, but also a little strange. He’s serious, but also a little strange. I’m going to pour my heart so I can fully capture those sides of him. Thank you, and I look forward to your support.”
