Here’s a look at the characters so far, and see for yourself who will live and who will find themselves at the bottom of Davy Jones’s locker in Assassin’s Creed: Forgotten Temple.
Edward Kenway
The Pirate Assassin, whose endless luck, jumping from one adventure to another, finds himself on one last mission: to discover a hidden treasure in the lost city of the Khmer Kingdom, somewhere in Southeast Asia. His clues lead him to the city of Macau, a merchant port teeming with opportunities.
Nao Kim
A scam is a scam, but sometimes you can win a free trip around the world. A chance that was too good to be true, Nao Kim takes the mysterious offer given by Abstergo and goes to Macau, only to be kidnapped and forced to unearth his family secrets. But, even though he’s facing certain death, both in and out of the Animus, he doesn’t pass up the chance to find out why his deadbeat father ran out on him and his mother, and maybe find out if it’s hereditary.
John Young
Like Kenway, a fellow Englishman who struck it big, only to gamble it all away, not only facing debts and death threats, he had the unfortunate opportunity of overhearing his drunken friend Hendrick’s story about the lost city of the kingdom of Khmer. In an act of desperation, he, too, poured out his friend’s story to others so that they might forget what he owed. Instead, even more trouble followed until Kenway came to his unwanted rescue.
Sei Shimazu
Sei Shimazu is the lead researcher in the Animus project of Abstergo in the Macau region. She’s currently harboring Nao Kim, coercing/threatening him into using the Animus to find out what Edward Kenway found in Southeast Asia. She’s also, however, a descendant of the Shimazu ninja clan, a mysterious group of warriors who fought and lost at the hands of Kenway during his travels. Marred by her family’s shame, she now works for Abstergo to seek what they are after and to reclaim her family’s honor.
