It’s not time to say “goodbye” just yet! During the annual Jump Festa event in Japan, it was announced that My Hero Academia has a slew of surprises to celebrate the anime’s 10th anniversary! These events are sure to keep fans hyped as a final send-off!
Special Episode Revealed
It was announced that there is one final surprise episode coming out in May of 2026. It will center on Izuku and Class 1-A after the timeskip, set during their careers as Pro-Heroes. It will be an adaptation of the exclusive epilogue chapter from Volume 42 of the manga. We’ll get better looks at where they all ended up and how their relationships with each other have all evolved over the eight years since their graduation.
World Tour Announced
Following the special episode announcement, an orchestra world tour was announced as part of the 10-year celebration. Dates and locations have yet to be announced, it was said that news will be coming very soon, and to visit the official concert website for more details as they come out. More Surprises To Come
During the presentation, it was also shown that, aside from the episode and tour, 2 more projects are in the works. They didn’t reveal what these projects are, however. Some theorize that it could be a movie set during Izuku’s adulthood, while others think it could be something entirely new set in the My Hero Academia universe. For now, we just gotta wait and see what is revealed when the moment arises!
Overall, there are a ton of exciting things on the horizon for MHA fans as we get to enjoy the series just a little longer!
